we stayed at hotel endemico over the holidays and it was the best road trip from LA ever.  the drive down to ensenada is fast and big suresque and the valle de guadalupe is insanely beautiful….  the hotel is made up of 20 pods perched on the hillside, instead of phones there are walkie talkies in the rooms!

i also love that most of the wine we brought back just had a piece of tape with sharpie writing on it instead of a label.  i want to go back next weekend!
